Don't sign a contract until you have answers to these.

This is absolutely non-negotiable for most venues.
Iowa law often requires the client to purchase the alcohol, while the vendor serves it. Clarify this!
Do they need a standard outlet or a generator?
Will it physically fit through the gate or doors of your venue?
Or do you need to buy 50 bags of ice yourself?
Rule of thumb: 1 bartender per 75-100 guests.
Will they help you design a menu?
Important if you are booking a Des Moines vendor for a rural wedding.
